During the quote process, Sam listened to what we wanted to happen. Price and timelines provided were reasonable. Sydney Styles did a main bathroom and ensuite for us and we are delighted with the results. The process was seamless - from the quote with Sam to showroom design with Caitlin and the actual demolition and construction. Jason (project manager) and his team of trades were excellent and very professional. Jason managed everything brilliantly with me via text and I always knew where we were up to, and which trades were coming next. They gave great suggestions and advice, and we hardly strayed from the initial quote. This was quite amazing given we were demolishing original 1970s bathrooms and I wasn't sure what we would find when we opened them up! I would highly recommend Sydney Styles as they have done a beautiful job. We hope to use them again!
Sam and his team are knowledgeable, patient and experienced, they come up with smart design and practical renovation plan for my old villa. We added a toilet in the rearranged bathroom, and a super mini basin in the second toilet. The project took about five weeks to finish, regular progress update were provided. It has been six months since the work was done and we are pretty happy with it.
First bathroom renovation I’ve ever done. After obtaining three quotes in the local area I went with Sydney styles. They were seamless from the beginning. Lorna was perfect helping an amateur choose fixtures and tiles and put together a great looking bathroom from the start. Jason the job manager was always available always on time and organised each of the trades coming and going seamlessly. The individual trades were beyond expectations. He was virtually available 24/7 for questions, and with ideas when the design was tweaked along the way. The trades were great. Polite efficient on time with high-quality work, The end result was perfect. And achieved with an absolute minimum of stress and disruption. Couldn’t be happier.

Sydney Styles Bathrooms and Kitchens estimator Sam very competently drew up our quote and handed us over to the Hornsby showroom staff Caitlin and Norma who were very pleasant and welcoming as we attended the showroom to choose new fittings and fixtures for two laundries. The choices were easy and we were soon finished.
We are happy with the final result but the total price was a little bit expensive for a few cabinets and a bit of plumbing and tiling.
All the tradespersons were amenable and did a good job although there was some confusion for the demolition team since the instructions didn’t actually say “remove wall tiles” but only “retain floor tiles”. The demo team cleaned up after removing the old cabinets but then forgot to clean up after then removing the old wall tiles. They also neglected to turn the mains water back on after a rush to turn it off when an under-sink tap was removed mistakenly. We think also the demolition could have been done closer to the time that the new cabinets were to be installed in order to shorten the time without a workable laundry.
It was a little difficult to pin down the project manager as to which dates the tradespersons were due to come and we had some wrangling to do in order that the dog was taken care of while the tradespersons’ dates changed. Fortunately, as it turned out, someone at Harvey Norman didn’t properly lodge our order with Miele for a washer to be delivered on Monday 30 September when it couldn’t have been installed as the plumbing had not been finalised.
One of the laundries required some extra plumbing and this was completed very capably by Paul and his offsider, as was the electrical work by Mitch. The carpenter (can’t remember his name) was most amenable on the last day when we were concerned about how a couple of finishing touches would be dealt with but he fixed them up.
Overall we are satisfied with the finished product and apart from a couple of small hitches would quite happily recommend Sydney Styles to handle any laundry renovations.
